As all of our previous clients and friends will tell you, we really want you to be a part of the Conrad & Conrad family.
We know that sometimes the remodeling process can be difficult (a little noise, a little mess). We also know you want us out of your personal space as soon as possible, so we provide you a tentative timeline so you know what to expect and when. Also, you should be informed about the process – from the initial visit, to the cost and selection of materials and products, to the last coat of paint and sweeping up.
At Conrad & Conrad , we pay special attention to taking care of you and your property by having a very trustworthy team in place that has been working together for decades and has experienced many different types of projects. For over 60 years, we’ve been a part of making homeowners in our local community happy in their homes.
Conrad and Conrad Inc. was founded in the 1950’s by Jack Conrad Sr. We have over 60 years of experience in building custom and spec homes, remodels and additions, as well as commercial construction.
We are a local, fully insured, small business located in Forsyth County, NC. Our NC General Contractor License is #23249. For referrals and reviews find us on the Better Business Bureau.

Our Founder
Jack Conrad Sr. is a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem, NC. He is a proud, retired US Marine who served in the Korean War.
He began helping his father, Lacy Hoke, after school when he was 12 years old. Lacy Hoke was a builder/carpenter and helped build many of the buildings and homes in downtown Winston as well as some of the RJR warehouses. Jack Sr. became a licensed Contractor in 1968 and has built many custom homes in Winston-Salem.
He is admired by the community and adored by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
President
Jack Conrad, Jr. began working with his father (Jack Sr.) while he was in high school and through college. He graduated from East Carolina University in 1982 with a BS in Industrial Technology and a Minor in Business Administration.
After graduation he went to work full time with Conrad and Copple Inc. In 1987 the business name changed to Conrad & Conrad Inc and he became part owner. He has been a licensed General Contractor since 1985. Jack takes a hands-on approach with every project to ensure that the customer is satisfied and treated with integrity.
Secretary and Office Manager
Angie Conrad began working for Conrad & Conrad in 1995.
As Secretary and Office Manager, Angie works closely with our owners and subcontractors, ensuring that the highest standards of integrity and quality are honored throughout each project
Vice President
In 2024, Ryan Conrad joined Conrad & Conrad and has assumed the position of Vice President.
Ryan is a fourth generation contractor and a graduate from the East Carolina Construction management program. He started working in construction after graduating in 2009. He brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to both our residential and commercial projects.
